Secrets Of The Ages
To every secured doors and vault, containing treasures, there are keys or combinations that unlock them. There are many mysteries in every endeavor. Careers such as wealth accumulations and finances, jaw breaking inventions, production of high-value items and commodities, mining and refining ores that have been kept for generations, by Mother Nature, manufacturing of highly sophisticated weapon, secret societies, military and detectives to name a few have hidden secrets underneath.
Interestingly, highly sought and confidential secrets of this nature are often than not kept secrets away from general public consumption.
In my research over the years, many articles have been written and documented over the mysteries to great ideas, buried thousands of years ago. Such one of them was ‘Greatest Search for Power, Wealth, and Fame’ by my intimate friend Joseph Animashaun. The summary of the book for acquiring power, wealth, and fame was finding your drive (purpose) and running passionately with it, never deviate from your course, come what may.
Furthermore, the iconic founder of Grameen Bank, Mahmoud Younus, shares this idea of discovering your inner voice and running with it. In addition, Steven Covey, the world respected author of 8 Habits towed this part, in a great deal.
Meanwhile, the secret of the ages is few rather than numerous, as many are made to believe. While motivational speakers and philosophers of the day preach the message of a discovery of one’s purpose and drive every time one wakes up, as the center of their sermon, on the other hands, the greatest teacher of the most influential religion on earth and the ancient scroll preached otherwise centuries ago. So, the choice of who is right and deserves listening to, as the truth speaker, can be adjudged from the foregoing that who wields the most influence worth going by.
In other words, in the past decades, many religions have sprung up claiming to be the way, with large followers, but only for such religious bodies to last for a few years after the death of the founder and those that didn’t, afterwards, lose a substantial numbers of their disciples to stronger ones. That’s the way it is. Thus, indicating that the leading religions existing, today, are products of deeper, stronger and superiority of founders’ ideology.
Hence, we ought to reappraise and imbibe the truth of such ideas if any, if you hope to replicate legacies left behind by such eminent personalities, and which I believe you do for reading this far.
However, the two leading religious bodies are Christianity and Islam out of numerous religious bodies in existence. Besides, their constitutions and code of conducts guide are Holy Bible, for Christianity, and Holy Quran, for Islam.
So, taking the two as a case study for scrutiny, what do they preach? Both appeal for faith in one God and His Holy Books. Likewise, Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ while Islam was founded by Prophet Mohammed.
The fact that Christianity is ahead of other religions, I would focus my beam light on the profound and powerful enigmatic idea that made it stand out among its peers.
What are the secrets of the ages? The Holy Bible says:
“ This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it’s out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing.
The mystery, in a nutshell, is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message.” 1 Colossians 1: 26–27 (MSG).
The power of transcendency and towering above everyone else is found in no one else other than in Jesus Christ. He’s first among creation. He’s the way, the truth, and the life as he proclaimed himself during one of his sermons. (John 14:6 NKJV) He was there when the world was created. Besides, he’s author and life-giver. He assumed this supreme position immediately he rose up from the dead after spending three days in the grave.
The truth is everything, absolutely everything, got started in him and finds its purpose in him rather than the make-believe hoaxes about looking inward to find our life purpose (Ephesians 1:11 MSG). It’s a wrong place, to begin with. God, through his son Jesus Christ, holds the keys to unlock what we’re born to do here on earth. Inasmuch as a manufacturer is in the best position to explain the functions of his product so also God as a manufacturer, through Jesus Christ as the dealer and human beings as the product are at the mercy of him to dictate his best intentions for us.
I begin to wonder a few days ago how a so-called pastor of one of the fastest growing Church in the United States, Pastor Joel Osten, denied the supremacy and deity of Jesus Christ when asked by two popular TV personalities Larry King and Oprah Winfrey about Jesus Christ being the only way. He goofed by saying there are many ways to Jesus Christ, however, leaving me to wonder the authenticity of 21st Century men of God about their faith in the Master of the Universe. They are a bunch of impostors out there who still hold such faulty belief. They’re blind men guiding blinds.
In conclusion, the path to greatness is by believing in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and faithfully keeping to his words as written in the ancient scroll, the Holy Bible. Having done this, daily studying and living the life from the timeless Constitution (the Holy Bible) ends men pursue.
