2 Lifestyles Of A Truth Seeker
To begin with, what is truth? Literally, truth means something factual. Truth was used by Jesus Christ to refer to himself.
He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me (John 14:6 KJV)”
From the foregoing, nothing is further from the truth if I say Jesus Christ, himself, is the Truth.
Moreover, Truth was a novel thing to his bunch of followers, over 2000 years ago, who were yet to grasp the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the firstborn of every creature.
In other words, a truth seeker, as it were, is someone who follows after the steps of the master, Jesus Christ.
There are so many false teachers out there, who regarded themselves as the truth, whereas they aren’t.
Succinctly, they profess and based their teachings on the early pioneer and bringer of the Truth message, Jesus Christ; however, faulty and muddled such are often times.
The false teachers go as far say some food is sacred or forbidden for consumption. How wrong this is!
The holy Bible says, “But meat commends us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if it we eat not, are we the worse.” (1 Cor.8:8 KJV)
A school of thought believed belonging to a religious sect is the answer.
This, too, is further from the truth message because religiosity is not the way to go, rather the following painstakingly researched two (2) lifestyles modeled after the master, Jesus Christ, by himself.
1.) Insatiable hunger: There are two types of folks that flocked to Jesus Christ, during his brief period here on earth: the spiritually empty and the spiritually full.
The former folks always left being full while the latter didn’t always get much.
This is a good metaphor to indicate that the truth seekers of God are those who are spiritually bankrupt, and therefore yearn for him regularly.
Little wonder, Matt 5:3 says, “Bless are those that are poor in the spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” KJV
The greatest king in the Old Testament, King David, understood this principle of seeking after God regularly, to have penned down the book of Psalms.
It is a book written under divine inspiration and shows a great heart of a godly leader. King David wrote:
“As the dear pants after streams of water, so my soul pants after thee, O God” Psalm 42:1 NKJV
In addition, hungering for the creator is not enough alone, but rather following through by obeying the lessons learn in the Holy Scripture, Bible, daily; however, until then can you be a true truth seeker, indeed.
2.) Contentment: Sages are not people who’re preoccupied with getting but rather who’re preoccupied with helping others with the little priceless possession they possess within.
Look out through the world over, the greatest influencer living or dead, are the one who didn’t wind up because of lack of resources to add value to others.
But what do they do?
They look within themselves, and discover something deep within, something larger than life and donate their geniuses to the world.
You might be sitting there right now, thinking your life is over just because of misfortune that just occurred to you, by designed or accident; it is high time you woke up from slumber, look within and discover your life compass that has been waiting all this years to be unraveled.
According to research, everyone on planet earth is uniquely created and better than the next person in one way or the other.
So, all what you ‘ve got to do is to figure out your strength and work on those areas.
Know thyself ; the whole creation is waiting for your manifestation, the world can’t wait for you to open your can of glory.
Take the bull by the horn and reinvent yourself.
The Holy Scripture says, “You’re blessed when you’re satisfied with just who you are — no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourself proud owners of everything that can’t be bought,” said by Matt 5:5 (MSG)
